After my partner, Jayce, and I got engaged, we received a ton of support from our friends and followers,

as well as many requests for us to share our experience planning our wedding as two queer and trans folks.

 

When we started looking online for wedding inspiration, we quickly noticed a big lack of representation of non-binary couples or services catered to them. I'm sure this isn't a big surprise to you, but the wedding industry is VERY catered to cisgender heterosexual couples.

 When you don't see yourself or people like you in any kind of community or industry, it's hard to feel like you're welcome there.

So here's what we want to do to fix that:

We're looking for all of the trans and non-binary wedding content we can find and we want to share it with you! 

We want to share our experience wedding planning to show other folks that they are welcome in this space,

no matter who they are or how they identify. 

We want to share our challenges and successes as we navigate this industry and plan the wedding that's right for us.

We're just one example of what a non-binary relationship can look like, but we hope watching our videos can provide some insight into what the wedding planning process is like for two genderqueer weirdos, and maybe provide other 2SLGBTQIA+ folks with hope.
