Tisiphone is one of the three Ancient Greek Furies and is known as the goddess of vengeful destruction. She is depicted here with damaged wings, holding a leather whip and a funeral torch. As a survivor of violence, Tisiphone spoke to me as a protector against abuse and a reminder that it's okay to be angry about what happened to me.
