I love being nonbinary. I love being trans. I love being in a constant state of evolution and never quite knowing where I’m going to end up or who I’m going to be. I’ve never related to or understood the rhetoric that trans people are “born in the wrong body” - I know that some trans folks might feel that way and that’s so valid! But when I look back on all the past versions of KJ I know that none of them were wrong. They were all authentically me, whether I was more femme or more masc or somewhere in between or outside of it all. I’m transitioning always, through every stage of life, and I don’t know where I’m going or what I’ll look like or who I’ll be but I hope I never stop.
